E-Government
& the Digital Divide
Information Services

I think that Information Services are the most useful to the consumer
because websites such as DirectGov
contain thousands of webpages dedicated to help anyone. From knowing how to
get a provisional driving licence to caring for a family member.

Online Reporting and Advice

Instead of going to a physical place such as the Town Hall for advice
on things such as Bin collection times you can simply just check on the
internet also you can get lots more information.

Online Payments

I think online payments are useful but not as useful as things such
as Information Services and Online Reporting and Advice. Being able to make
payments online has become a huge thing without it the world would be a
different place with people ordering things online every day.

Online Booking

Online booking is useful also as it allows you to make appointments
for things like Doctors and Dentists without having to call up or visit the
location. Also it is useful as it can send you reminders through your email
so you know exactly when your appointment is. However I think it is the least
useful as you can easily just call up and note down when your appointment is.
